Hello! Nutella Yum here. After a short hiatus, I'm back to bring you more of the best in nut blogging. So, here it goes. Read on to discover crazy holiday nut creations.

I couldn't believe what I saw the other day. Frankly, I was just stunned by the ingenuity of people. Have you ever seen such crazy creative creations as these?

First, there was the world's smallest nativity scene. Yep, right there in a walnut shell, details and all.

Then, there were, of course, nut shell turtles, sailboats and dolls shoes -- a must for any kid's education -- and the usual Christmas craft decoration. The one pictured here was especially pretty.

But what really blew me away was the pistachio art. Pistachio Nutshell WreathPeople take those incredibly frustrating little pistachio shells -- frustrating because pistachios are so good you want to keep eating them by the handful but you have to stop and shell each one which slows the devouring of them -- and they turn them into impressive household decorations like this door wreath =>

... lotus flowers!

And of course the jewelry makers out in California know no limits.

People are crazy about walnut crafts especially. Check these out: tiny walnut planters complete with plants inside!

You can even make walnut TEA LIGHTS and sliced walnut BUTTONS. Honestly, I never would have thought of it!

But the most ingenious nut craft I saw was this NUTTY BASKET made of black walnut slices. =>

Do I see some holiday gift ideas popping up in the 4-day animation room in my head? You bet.

Being a nut for all things nutty, and since we are falling headlong into end-of-the-year festivities, I thought I would spend some time over the next few weeks sharing with you how to make a few of these nutty creations yourself.

Shall we? Just sick back, relax and stay tuned to hear more about HOLIDAY NUT CRAFT CREATIONS in the coming weeks!

And don't forget to stack some Try My Nuts snack favorites by the computer, so you can snack as you discover. :-)

By the way, if you have any feedback, ideas or suggestions, don't hesitate to let me know via FacebookTwitter or email. I would love to hear from you!

Happy Nutvember,

Nutella Yum
